Linda 's Story
Life
I returned to school in 1989 to pursue a degree in nursing as an RN. I worked with LaHacienda, which is drug and alcohol treatment, for about 11 years. It was extremely rewarding and opened many opportunities to me. I have since moved more into Psychiatric Nursing and am loving it. I have been with MSTH in San Antonio since August 2004. In October 2008 I moved into nursing at the Kerrville State Hospital, no commute into San Antonio which is nice as I can be at work in about 5 minutes due to a nice new loop that skirts town taking you right to the hospital....Expand for more
I work with Forensic patients. I was married for over 20 years and divorced. This past December we remarried after almost 10 years. God is good. I have one daughter who is 30 and three beautiful grand children ages 7, 6 and 4 years. I have the awesome opportunity of spending time with these blessings quite often. My daughter and her husband live close by. No pets unless a computer can be one, lol.. I have just about refinished remodeling my home. No easy thing!! We hope to sell this townhouse and get some place with a little yard again :D always something!!
